Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Frameliq, provided by Tinkerbrains ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the service.

2. Description of Service

Frameliq is an AI-powered filmmaking studio that allows users to generate scripts, storyboards, and videos using artificial intelligence tools. The service integrates with third-party AI providers for content generation. See our Third-Party AI Services section for details.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Frameliq offers paid subscription plans ("Creator" and "Studio"). By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees plus any taxes. Payments are processed via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the end of the current period.

5. Refunds and cancellations

Except where these Terms, the Sold through Link refund policy, or applicable law gives you a right to cancel or a remedy, payments are non-refundable once we make the subscription, credits, or other digital product available to you.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer right that cannot legally be limited or excluded. Depending on where you live, this may include cancellation or cooling-off rights and remedies for products or services that are faulty, unavailable, materially different from their description, or not supplied with the standard of care required by law.

  • Subscriptions. You may cancel a subscription at any time through the Settings page. Cancellation stops future renewals, and access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period. We do not voluntarily refund a partially used billing period. If applicable law gives you a cooling-off or cancellation right, we will honor it. Where the law allows, we may deduct a reasonable amount for service already supplied or benefits already used before cancellation.
  • Media Credit packs. Purchased Media Credits do not expire while they remain available under the rules of your plan and are not redeemable for cash. We do not voluntarily refund unused credits or credits spent on completed generation requests. This does not affect a cancellation right or remedy required by applicable law. Where permitted, any refund may be reduced to account for credits already used.
  • AI-generated outputs. A creative result that does not match your personal preference does not, by itself, qualify for a refund. This does not affect any remedy you may have if the service or output fails to meet a requirement that applicable law makes binding.
  • Billing and delivery problems. Contact us promptly if you believe a payment was duplicated or unauthorized, credits were not delivered, or a technical error affected your purchase. We will investigate and provide any refund or other remedy required by applicable law or the payment provider's rules. Asking you to contact us promptly does not shorten any legal or payment-provider deadline.
  • Sold through Link. If your checkout or receipt says "Sold through Link," the Sold through Link refund policy also applies. Link may review transaction-related refund requests and may provide rights or remedies in addition to this policy.

To request a refund or other remedy, email team@tinkerbrains.com from the address used for your account. Include the transaction details and a short description of the issue. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within the period required by applicable law or the payment provider.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain ownership of the inputs (prompts, scripts) you provide and the outputs generated for you, subject to the terms of the underlying AI models.
  • Our IP: The Frameliq platform, code, and design are owned by Tinkerbrains and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  • License: You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Generate illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or sexually explicit content.
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.

8. Third-Party AI Services

Frameliq integrates with third-party AI services to provide its features. These services are provided by their respective companies and are subject to their own terms and conditions. Frameliq is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these companies.

  • Z.ai GLM: Frameliq uses Z.ai's GLM-5.3-Flash large language model for text generation, story development, and prompt composition. GLM and Z.ai are trademarks of their respective owners. Frameliq is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Z.ai.
  • Google AI Services: Frameliq uses Veo 3.1 for video generation, Imagen 4 Ultra for character portrait generation, and Nanobanana Pro (a Gemini-powered image generation model) for storyboard frame generation. Veo, Imagen, Gemini, and Google are trademarks of Google LLC. Frameliq is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.
  • fal.ai: Video and image generation using fal.ai's API infrastructure, which provides access to various AI models including Kling, Veo, Sora, WAN, LTX, PixVerse, Seedream, and Flux.
  • OpenAI Sora: Video generation via OpenAI's Sora model. Sora and OpenAI are trademarks of OpenAI, Inc.
  • Kuaishou Kling: Video generation via Kling AI models. Kling is developed by Kuaishou Technology.
  • Alibaba WAN: Video generation via WAN models. WAN is developed by Alibaba Group.
  • ByteDance Seedream: Image generation via Seedream 4.5 models. Seedream is developed by ByteDance.
  • Lightricks LTX: Video generation via LTX Video models. LTX is developed by Lightricks Ltd.
  • Fal-hosted ElevenLabs models: Voice synthesis, dialogue generation, sound effects, and AI music are accessed through Fal. ElevenLabs is a trademark of ElevenLabs, Inc.
  • Cloudflare R2: Media storage via Cloudflare's R2 object storage. Cloudflare is a trademark of Cloudflare, Inc.
  • Clerk: Authentication services via Clerk. Clerk is a trademark of Clerk, Inc.
  • Stripe: Payment processing via Stripe. Stripe is a trademark of Stripe, Inc.

All trademarks, service marks, and company names mentioned are the property of their respective owners. Their use here is for identification purposes only and does not imply endorsement.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your specific needs.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Tinkerbrains be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
