Write your film with Claude or ChatGPT

Connect Frameliq to the AI assistant you already pay for. Describe a film in a chat, and Claude or ChatGPT writes the story, characters, beats, screenplay, storyboard frame prompts and Composer shot prompts straight into your Frameliq project. Then you generate the stills and video in Frameliq.

Available on every paid Frameliq plan. The connection uses MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open standard Claude and ChatGPT use to work with other apps.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Connect once

Add Frameliq to Claude or ChatGPT and sign in with your Frameliq account. It takes about two minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Ask for a film

Describe the film in a chat. The assistant writes each stage into a Frameliq project and checks in with you between stages.

  3. Step 3

    Generate in Frameliq

When the writing is done, the assistant sends you a link. You generate the stills, video and voices in Frameliq as usual.

Set it up

Claude and ChatGPT both connect to the same address:

https://www.frameliq.com/api/mcp

Connect Claude

Works on every Claude plan. The Free plan allows one custom connector.

  1. On claude.ai, open Customize → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Frameliq and paste the address above.
  3. Choose Sign in now, then Use your own OAuth client. Enter eKDyz5dAfmM66yyM as the client ID and leave the client secret blank.
  4. Sign in to Frameliq and approve the connection.
  5. In a new chat, turn on the Frameliq connector and ask for a film.

Add the Frameliq plugin to ChatGPT

Needs ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu, on the web.

  1. Open Plugins in the ChatGPT sidebar, then choose Add → Create MCP App.
  2. In the New Plugin form, name it Frameliq, paste the address above as the Server URL, and set Authentication to OAuth.
  3. Open Advanced OAuth settings and choose User-Defined OAuth Client. Enter 1hfCESLs2MYJmDmk as the client ID, leave the secret blank, and set the token endpoint auth method to none.
  4. Under Default scopes, tick only openid, email and offline_access.
  5. Tick “I understand and want to continue”, then choose Create.
  6. Sign in to Frameliq and approve the connection. Frameliq now appears under Installed.
  7. In a chat, choose Frameliq from Plugins below the message box, or type @Frameliq, and ask for a film.

Don’t see Create MCP App under Add? Some accounts need Developer mode first: open Settings → Security and login and turn it on.

The client IDs are public identifiers, not API keys, so they are safe to share. Claude Code and Codex are not supported yet.

What you can ask for

On a new film

  • Create a project and set its title, genre, language and storyboard style
  • Write the idea, logline, synopsis, world and theme
  • Build the characters and places, which go into your project bible so Storyboard and Composer use them
  • Write the beats, then the screenplay scenes and dialogue, or import a screenplay you paste in, word for word
  • Plan the storyboard with a frame prompt, camera and cast for every panel
  • Import the storyboard into Composer and write a motion prompt for each shot, matched to the video model you chose

On a film you have already started

  • Review the whole project, from story to shots, and tell you what is weak before changing anything
  • Fix continuity, such as a character whose name or look drifts between scenes, or lighting that jumps
  • Rewrite every storyboard frame prompt or every Composer shot prompt in one pass
  • Add a character, a place or a missing beat, or delete the ones you no longer need
  • Undo any change it made, by its change id, for 30 days

Prompts to try

  • “Make a two-minute sci-fi short about a lighthouse keeper who picks up a signal. Stop after the logline so I can check it.”
  • “Review my latest project and list the five weakest shots before you change anything.”
  • “Rewrite every Composer prompt in this project for Kling 3.0, keeping the same characters and lighting.”
  • “Here is my screenplay. Import it as written, then plan a storyboard for scene 1.”

The assistant follows Frameliq’s craft guidelines at each stage, such as how to describe a character so they look the same in every frame, and how to write a motion prompt for the video model you picked.

Keep your Story credits

Frameliq’s own writing tools spend Story credits. When Claude or ChatGPT writes instead, it runs on your assistant subscription and costs zero Story credits. Use your assistant for the long passes, like a full script rewrite or a review of every prompt, and keep your monthly Story credits for quick edits in the app.

What stays in Frameliq

  • Images, video, voices and music are generated in Frameliq and use your Media credits or your fal key. The assistant cannot start a generation.
  • A project’s aspect ratio and resolution are fixed when it is created.
  • Text you changed in the app after the assistant last read the project is never overwritten.
  • The assistant can only see and change your own projects.

Undo and privacy

Every change the assistant makes gets a change id that lasts 30 days. Ask it to undo a change and it restores exactly what it changed, leaving anything you edited afterwards alone. If you have the project open in Frameliq, it updates as the assistant’s edits arrive, and your own unsaved edits are saved first.

The assistant sees only the text of your own projects. Frameliq logs the tool name, your account id and the result of each call, never your project text. You can disconnect at any time from your assistant’s connector settings. See the privacy policy.

Questions

Which Frameliq plans include the Claude and ChatGPT connection?
Every paid Frameliq plan: Creator, Creator Plus, Studio and Studio Pro. You also need a Claude or ChatGPT plan that allows custom connectors.
Which Claude and ChatGPT plans work?
Custom connectors work on every Claude plan, and the Free plan allows one. In ChatGPT you need Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu on the web. You add Frameliq as a plugin with Add → Create MCP App.
Does the assistant spend my Story credits?
No. Claude or ChatGPT does the writing on your own assistant subscription, so it costs zero Story credits. Your Story credits stay available for writing tools inside Frameliq.
Can Claude or ChatGPT generate video in Frameliq?
No. The assistant writes text and prompts only. You generate stills, video, voices and music inside Frameliq, and they use your Media credits or your fal key.
Is it safe to paste the client ID?
Yes. The client IDs on this page are public identifiers, not passwords or API keys. Sign-in only works through Claude or ChatGPT, and you approve it with your own Frameliq account.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT use tools in other apps. Frameliq uses it to let your assistant read and edit your film projects.
